We acknowledge the sovereignty of First Nations people over land and waters, and the ongoing struggles against settler-colonial occupation. We stand in solidarity as accomplices in all acts of Indigenous resistance, recognising that we are beneficiaries of an uncompensated and unreconciled dispossession that has continued for over 200 years. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
